Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technicians are healthcare providers that perform pharmacy related functions, generally working under the supervision of a doctor or licensed pharmacologist. Jobs for this occupation are typically available in pharmacies, hospitals and clinics. As a Pharmacy Technician, some of your duties may include:

Receiving and written and electronic prescription request from patients and doctors
Reading prescriptions and retrieving, or mixing compound medications
Establishing and maintaining patient files
Preparing insurance claim forms
Managing inventory
